The Pourdavoud Center would like to thank all of the presenters, panel chairs, and attendees who made the Second Achaemenid Workshop, hosted by the University of Innsbruck and co-sponsored by the Pourdavoud Center, and the Austrian Academy of Sciences, a great success and a wonderful experience for all. The conference was held in Obergurgl, Austria from July 3-7, 2023, and featured presentations from thirty international scholars. We will be sharing the lecture videos on our Online Video Library later this summer. We are looking forward to the Third Achaemenid Workshop, which will be hosted by the University of California, Irvine on February 14-16, 2024.
