SOAS, University of London Creates Institute of Zoroastrian Studies with £5 Million Gift

The School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London has received a £5 million gift to create the SOAS Shapoorji Pallonji Institute of Zoroastrian Studies.  The institute, to be co-chaired by Dr Sarah Stewart, Lecturer in Zoroastrianism, and Professor Almut Hintze FBA, Zartoshty Brothers Professor of Zoroastrianism, will feature an endowment for the Shapoorji Pallonji Lectureship in Zoroastrian Studies and the establishment of the Shapoorji Pallonji Scholarships in Zoroastrian Studies.
